Just returned from the desert and I am still walking upright considering the lack of preparation and onslaught of sickness prior. I only ran 90 seconds slower than last year! Not too bad, since I really trained last year. The blossoms were in bloom and the weather was perfect, actually it was a little hot at the end of the race. I love complaining about the heat, I want to more, instead I have to complain about the snow that just appeared in my yard...seriously, Utah?
I am looking forward to meeting up with a new family tomorrow, I just hope I can move without too much pain...I didn't say I wasn't sore.
